Building on success
Over the years, homes created by Design Builders have won highly coveted Golds, Best in Category awards, and Gold Reserves. (A Gold Reserve means a home is shortlisted for the grand final and has a shot at the top honours.)
At last year’s awards, Design Builders homes received several accolades. A showhome created by our Taupo team won a Gold Award, Category Award and Gold Reserve finalist. Our Waikato team won both a Gold Award and Gold Reserve finalist. Design Builders Hawke’s Bay won a Gold Award and Category Award.
The final tally included two silvers from Design Builders Waikato and a bronze each by our Wellington and Hawke’s Bay teams.
The Oscars of our industry
As you can imagine, the Master Builders House of the Year awards is hugely anticipated. It’s a great opportunity for the industry to get together in a spirit of friendly, but serious, competition.
This year, as with so many other industries, the building sector is having to do things a bit differently. The same goes for Master Builders House of the Year awards. Normally by now it would be well underway, but this year it’s been pushed back to November.
Quality in quantities
Even with a late start, the standards will be as high, the judging as tough, and the quality of homes as inspiring as always. This year, Design Builders’ talented teams have put forward some fantastic homes. These include superb showhomes in Waikato and Bay of Plenty, and some stylish client homes in Waikato and Hawke’s Bay.
