For over 30 years, Trends has promoted great home design ideas through its print, digital and online media. The Trends International Design Awards (TIDAs) take it to the next level with a quest for the best kitchens, bathrooms and homes across several countries where Trends has a presence, including New Zealand.
Among the award-winning New Zealand homes in the 2020 Trends International Design Awards is Design Builders Waikato’s exciting New York loft-inspired showhome. This wonderful home features imaginative materials, cleverly designed living spaces, open and generous living spaces, and an outlook that makes the most of the nearby park and river. Needless to say, we’re thrilled that our ‘New Yorker’ has been recognised.
In his speech, Design Builders CEO Andrew Price acknowledged TIDA, the other award-winners and the judges. He said the house was the result of turning themes and ideas into reality, and there were a lot of complexities in doing so.
He added, ‘We’re absolutely stoked to be recognised among New Zealand’s best when it comes to designing and building unique homes.’
Andrew also acknowledged everyone who worked so hard to bring this home to life, including Jeff Marra and his team at Design Builders Waikato, Design Builders’ talented in-house design team and expert interior designers, Emma Fenwick and Paula Waterhouse.
