It’s not every day we get the privilege of building a second home for a client – but this project in Wellington was just that. Our client had already been through the design and build process with us once before, and when it came time to build again, she said it was a “no-brainer” to choose Design Builders Wellington.
This latest home captures everything she wanted: single-level living, a kitchen at the heart of the home, solar panels and EV-ready features for future-proofing, and a design full of personality and unpredictability.
“It’s open plan – but not predictable. I love that about it,” she shared.
With breathtaking views, a layout that creates distinct moods throughout the home, and stunning high ceilings inspired by one of our show homes, it’s a house that’s as unique as its owner. Weekly site visits during the build brought a sense of excitement and involvement, and choosing the finishes – especially the flooring and ceilings – was a highlight.
