Jeff Marra was our choice of builder to manage the substantial alteration/addition we made to our home in 2010. We are pleased with this choice and very happy with the result. The project was completed within time and budget. Jeff will be considered first for any future project/s. We are most willing to show our project and discuss with anyone contemplating using Jeff for their project.
Before we contracted Jeff we inspected and discussed with owners of Jeff’s previous project – a build and subsequent alteration. These owners gave us a positive testimonial. Other sources of comment include our electrician son – also positive.
Jeff had a thoroughly professional attitude and enthusiasm for our project from start to finish. The contract provided was comprehensive and fair. Our solicitor made only minor amendments. The contract was seldom referred to. Jeff’s professional standards were maintained throughout the project.
We felt confident to discuss all issues with Jeff both as the project progressed and upon completion. He always listened to our ideas, many were accepted. When he considered there was another sometimes better way he explained his thoughts and got our agreement. One example was the layout of the deck. His advice was invaluable. We made some quite substantial modifications during the project and received understanding and support. We were regularly updated with appropriate detail on all aspects of the project in a manner we understood.
Jeff was regularly on site. He is gentle but firm in getting subcontractors to get their work completed to the appropriate standard in a timely manner. We felt safe and secure with all Jeff’s staff and subcontractors.

Jeff and his team recently completed building our new home and we couldn’t speak more highly of Jeff and his staff. From start to finish we had a good relationship that allowed the project to run smoothly. Our development site was a sloped section which we expected would have come with added difficulties, however this was never an issue for them. When the odd problem occurred Jeff always had at least two options which allowed quick decisions to be made to get around it.
He was always in communication with us, consulting and keeping us informed of progress and chasing us along to ensure decisions in relation to bathroom fittings, kitchen plans, paint colours etc. were being made to ensure the project flowed smoothly. We are more than pleased with the finished product and believe Jeff and his team made an exceptional job to the point that if we were ever to build again we wouldn’t go past Jeff Marra.
